In the grand tradition of neglecting my family to blog, here I am instead of making dinner. Nothing would be greater than slapping down a few boxes of cereal, like Jami does...(how do I link to another blog post?Anyone??)but I'm afraid that if I did, Scott would revolt. Of course, Jack would be in heaven...these are things we do when Daddy goes out of town and Mommy doesn't want to wash dishes!
So Mr. Bingley is gone. Did I mention that I named all the puppies after Pride and Predjudice characters? I did. I posted the puppies on KSL and someone came to look. They wanted a female, but after a few minutes with Mr. Bingley (my favorite!) they knew they couldn't live without him. I said that I would be very picky about who he went to, because I loved him so much! These friends have no kids, just a puggle named Gussy. They live on half an acre and have their dog insured. For heck's sake! When they said he was the one they wanted, I instantly started to tear up. She asked if I wanted to hold him before they left and I burst into tears threatening to kill them with my bare hands if anything happened to him. Not the greatest customer service, I grant you, but I was in no mood to be polite. They were so cute with him though and I think he will be very happy. Of course, I was a sobbing wreck!! I called Scott at work doing the hiccupy kind of sob which freaked him out. He was thinking something horrible happened (it did!) and that he was going to need to rush home. When I finally got out that "They took Mr. Bingley!!" he started laughing, which made me cry even harder! He was trying to talk some sense into me, but to no avail. I was so upset that my baby was gone. Rest assured, dear readers. It was nothing a Pace Tiger's Blood popsicle and a nap couldn't fix!

Hey, I did say that it was only very occasionally we had cereal for dinner! It just happens that those are my favorite meals, okay?
