"He's a big pig! You can be a big pig, too! HULA!!"

This is the piggy bank that Jack and I made yesterday. I was in line at WalMart, (one of those experiences where the checker is a bored 17 year old girl with that glazed minimum wage look in her eyes...)I picked up this magazine full of craft ideas to do with recycled items. This cute bank was on the front and Jack got so excited to make it, he kept asking all day long if we could make his pig! Finally we made it (it was so easy I could even do it!) and here is the finished product. I told Jack we had to let it dry overnight (from rinsing the bottle out) and that we could put his money in it in the morning. So this morning, bright and early, I wake up to the bottle in my face and Jack asking if it was dry yet. Have mercy.
So let's talk for a second about Carl's Junior commercials. You know how autistic kids, when they get way overloaded, groan and whack their heads on things? That's what those commercials make me want to do!! I had this mission companion who ate breakfast while we did our studies and she would SLURP her cereal. It made me crazy!! I would read with both hands over my ears and plot ways to make her choke. (We weren't always besties, dontcha know) Ever since then I have had this "thing" about chewing noises. It makes me INSANE. Bananas are the worst! Just the sound of food sloshing around people's mouths induces the aforementioned groaning and head-whacking. So these commercials that show people shoving gigantic hamburgers or chiliburgers or taco salads or whatever in their faces makes me want to gag. I seriously HATE these commercials. Maybe I should write a letter. (Coincidentally, have you ever read the book "Letters From a Nut?" If not, you must!)
So 4 puppies down, 2 to go. No leads yet on the other 2. We really need to get them gone. It's not that they aren't cute and cuddly because they are and I love them. However, there is still the poop to deal with and, frankly, I am quickly running out of newspaper for them to poo on. It's become an issue. Plus, the longer it takes to get rid of them, the harder it will be on Jack. As it is, I have promised him a "big toy" when all the puppies are gone.
So Judge Judy is on right now. (Back off, we don't have cable!) In the beginning of the show, she smiles. It looks unnatural and painful for her to smile! I'm sure she's really a great lady. A loving wife, mother and grandmother type (though I feel bad for any grandkids who think they can pull one over on her!) but she shouldn't smile. Stick with what works, Judge Judy. Stick with what works.

You do not even know how much the gum-chonking and food chomping sounds make me CRAZY! Have you ever watched Flight of the Conchords? There is a hilarious episode where Jemaine tells Bret he eats too loudly. Bret says, "But I eat with my mouth closed." Jemaine:"I don't know how you do it."

I don't know if that came off as funny as it did in my head because it's hard to type with their New Zealand accents. Anyway, that is exactly how I feel about Ellis sometimes. I don't know how he does it either, but when he's eating loud food (ie: chips), sometimes I just can't be around him.
