Tag, I'm "it".
Thanks for tagging me, Laurie! More stuff about Peggy that no one has ever cared about! ;o)
1) What was I doing 10 years ago?
1998... I was living with my Grandma (who I love more than my life!), working at Directv and trying to decide whether or not to go on a mission. There was this boy that I liked, thought he was "the one" so I didn't know if I should go or not, then there was another boy who thought I was "the one" Yikes...it was a whole situation...
2) What are 5 things on my to-do list today.
1. Clean the house-check.
2. Get haircuts for me and Jack - check.
3. Go grocery shopping - check.
4. Make dinner--chicken foldovers YUM - check.
5. Exercise - check.
3) What are some snacks that I enjoy?
-Well, there is my lifeblood--Chex Mix and Cherry Coke (which I am currently enjoying--minus the Cherry Coke)
-Almonds
-Ice cream in pretty much any form
-Wheat Thins
-popcorn
-Twizzlers (makes mouths happy!)
Okay, really, I could go on and on here...
4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire.
A BILLIONAIRE..man, I would love to be tested to see if I'd really do the things I say I would! Well, the first thing I would do is give my ten percent. Then I would pay off all of our debt and buy two houses--one here and one in France. Then I would pay all my cute Grandma's debt and buy her a house. I would then purchase a very large wardrobe, buy some investment properties (I'm thinking an apartment complex--that's a whole lot of free money, kids!) I don't know what I'd do with the rest--probably help the rest of my family financially and I'd save/invest the rest to make Scott happy.
5) Places I've lived.
Lots. I'm originally from a small farm town in Idaho but served an 18 month mission in Belgium and France. Then I moved to Utah where I got married and subsequently stuck. GET ME OUT OF HERE!!! (Utah, not my marriage!)
I tag:
Jami, Micaela, Claire and Denny Have fun, girlies!
5 smart remarks:
Well, well, well....
Look at you Little Miss Look How Much I've Accomplished Today.
Dinner AND exercise? I think we are no longer friends.
Honestly. I can't believe you actually DO everything on your to-do list. Why did I ever think we were kindred spirits? Sheesh...
Oh yeah, and I can't believe that I forgot to pay my tithing on the billions of dollars. Just goes to show you that I'm a spiritual slacker of the first degree.
And while I can't believe that you actually did all you set out to do today (who are you, anyway?) - I will say that I would share snacks with you. I'm now craving Twizzlers in the worst way. I think I'll go and pop a bag o' popcorn for dinner. That'll take off the edge, I'm pretty sure. :)
Oh, Laurie--so much for you to learn about the mystery that is Peggy. Every couple of weeks I have a REALLY productive day. that was just my day. Normally, I don't even make a to-do list because I can't handle the pressure. ;o)
Okay, okay... if you don't normally make a to-do list, and it was just a rogue day that you accomplished so much... then I guess that we can be friends.
I hate lists. I ONLY make them when I know that I'll be able to cross it ALL off. If I can't cross it ALL off, then it's not worth the effort to me. It's like, I cross one or two lines off and the rest of the list is looking up at me and mocking me for not being able to get it all done.
And yes, I am aware that I just admitted (in a public forum) that I think my paper/list talks to me, and that makes me sound insane. To clarify, I don't actually HEAR VOICES... I just get bummed/annoyed with myself for not getting it done. So to avoid that, I just don't do the list. Kind of like how excersizing makes me sore, which makes me realize how out of shape I really am. Yeah, it's better to just sit down with Ben & Jerry and watch a little tv, y'know?
Speaking of... I'm pretty sure SYTYCD is on and I've got to get offline and plant myself in front of the tv now. :)
