"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.."

So every year, right around December 23rd, you will find me sitting at my kitchen table frantically finishing some various and sundry Christmas crafts while swearing under my breath. Seriously. It's not even December 24th yet and my house looks like Christmas threw up in it. Ca va pas, friends. Ca va pas. So I was talking to some friends (and fellow Heritage Makers consultants) and we decided that this year we are going to be FINISHED with Christmas before Thanksgiving. We want to take December off!! And, really, what better gift to give someone than a storybook? (Or poster, or deck of personalized playing cards, or a fun family trivia game, or...you get the idea!) We gave Scott's family a beautiful book about his dad's life for Christmas last year and it was so awesome to watch them read about their dad and point things out to their spouses who didn't know him. I gave my family members calendars for Christmas and they've loved seeing new pictures of Jack every month. (Because, really, who could get sick of such a cute kid? I mean, come on!) So anyway, our first workshop will be held in Taylorsville on July 26th from 4P-midnight. We'll have our super snazzy scanner there that scans up to 30 pictures per minute for prices as low as .19/picture. Pretty great deal. So even if you're WAY more organized than I am and have the Christmas thing in the bag, plan on coming to learn more about how to preserve your family's stories or even to scan pictures. THIS IS NOT A "PARTY" OR AN "OPEN HOUSE" or anything like it. No sales, just some great gift ideas, help getting started or working on projects and drawings for free publishing credits. Did I mention crazy fun? Email me if you want more information.

This shameless plug was brought to you by the letters I and D. And the number 9.

Hey Peggy,
I didn't want to be a blog stalker so I'm leaving a comment so you know I checked in. Your son is adorable. I loved all your favorites of Belgium!!! Having never left the US (except Tijuana, but I don't think that really counts) I live through everyone else's memories. Sara (Leavitt) Williams
