"..All in the eyes of a boy."

So I've posted loads about myself, a little about Scott but very little about Jack, I think. So here are 30 things you (probably) don't know about him!

1. He hates wearing shoes--partially because he's pigeon-toed.
2. He also hates wearing clothes. Most days if you knock on my door in the middle of the day, you'll find him running around in just his underwear. Some days, I don't even bother dressing him.
3. He LOVES to dig. He can spend a ridiculous amount of time in his diggin' spot, digging to China. He's also fascinated with heavy machinery. Diggers, loaders, scoopers...he loves them all and knows them by name.
4. Bob the Builder is his hero.
5. He doesn't like to pray.
6. He's as picky an eater as I am!
7. He loves to play computer games. pbskids.org is his favorite website and he can almost get to it himself.
8. He has a stylist. He won't let me TOUCH his hair and when it gets long, he tells me "It's time to go to Stacie's to get my hair cut."
9. He has asthma but seems to be slowly growing out of it.
10. He's an awesome Wii bowler. And he loves the shooting game in Wii Play. This is something else he can start up on his own, no matter how much I yell at him not to.
11. He has a new addiction to the game "Battleship."
12. He has a pretty remarkable work ethic for such a little kid. He loves to help Scott outside in the garden and mowing the lawn and inside, he helps me vaccuum and wash dishes.
13. He doesn't like loud noises and complains if the TV or the radio is too loud.
14. He refuses to drink anything that isn't ICE cold and will come wake me up in the middle of the night if the ice in his water melts.
15. He loves to read to be read to. Often, we'll find him with a book in his lap "reading" to himself.
16. He has toy tools that he keeps IN a toolbox. It's maybe the only toys he has that he's religious about keeping organized, but they're always in the toolbox!
17. He can count to ten in French
18. One of his favorite things is when we hide around a corner and jump out to scare him.
19. He loves listening to the Children's Songbook on CD and if we're listening to anything else in the car, he'll ask us to put one of his CD's in.
20. He almost always "excuse me" if he's trying to get someone's attention.
21. He pretends to be shy for about 10 minutes when he meets someone new.
22. He doesn't really like french fries.
23. His favorite thing to drink is water. With ice, of course.
24. He loves broccoli and begs me to buy it when we're at the grocery store.
25. He potty trained himself (thank goodness!)
26. He's a total minimalist--we went through his toys because his toybox was so full it wouldn't close. I actually had to take toys out of his "to give away" pile to keep them!!
27. He's fascinated with garbage trucks and garbage days. He can even distinguish the garbage truck from the recycling truck.
28. He gets bugged when I throw stuff in the garbage that can be recycled.
29. He loves to pillowfight. The harder he gets hit, the better!
30. He often prefers a plain bath to a bath with bubbles or bath fizzies.

There are 30 small bits of trivia about Mr. Jack. Of course there are many more fun tidbits about him that make us love him so much but it's time to play pillowfight! ;o)
