I mean, really, in the grand scheme of things, don't you think gall bladders are just a tad overrated? Sooo...I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we may have solved the Extreme Barfing issue. The bad news is..I might be throwing up this much because of my gall bladder. When my midwife consulted with the doctor she works with, one of the things he suggested was an abdominal ultrasound to check my gall bladder. I spent the weekend thinking it was silly because I have no pain at all. That is, until the tech was doing the u/s and pressed down on it. Oh my heck, it took my breath away it hurt so bad. She said that if anything shows up abnormal with my gall bladder, the fact that it's tender is pretty much icing on the cake. I asked if anything was abnormal, but of course by law she can't tell me that. So I have to wait 3-4 days for the results to get to the dr and then for them to contact me.I didn't throw up at all yesterday, and I haven't thrown up yet today but definately feel barfy. I also feel absolutely exhausted. I slept the 2 hours Jack was at school today and will probably convince him to take a nap this afternoon so I can sleep some more.I just don't have time for this!

3 smart remarks:
I had issues with my gall bladder when I was pregnant with Aiden. I ended up having to have it taken out a few weeks after he was born. Not fun stuff!
My mom had her gallbladder out when she was pregnant with Sarah. I have assisted in surgeries on pregnant women, too. If it will save you a ton of pain and grief and puke--I say, do it. Ella-babes will be okay.
Oh man, I am so relieved to hear there may be an answer to your misery! I've been looking up odor-eliminating tactics for the last couple of days in hopes of finding a cure for your, uh, abnormal reaction to your house.
