"...Mine all mine"

Well, kids, here's the update. There is nothing wrong with my gall bladder so I get to keep it, hopefully for at least another 30 years. I mean, we've never been especially close, but you know how it is when you come so close to losing something...okay, I'm being a bit snarky. According to the surgeon, the lining of most gall bladders is around 3 mm. However, everyone is different and they don't consider them "inflamed" unless they're more than 4 mm. Mine is 3.5 mm. So, a bit thicker than normal, but not so thick that it's considered "inflamed." I wasn't at all excited about having surgery, in fact I was pretty much scared to death that something would happen to the baby. So the fact that ole "Gally" and I are stuck together is not terrible news. I am, however, disappointed that we're no closer to finding out why I'm so sick and any further testing isn't worth the risk it potentially poses to the baby. My midwife is sending me to a Perientologist to see if I maybe need steroids. Awesome. So in addition to blinding stomach cramps I get facial hair. I'm pretty much the luckiest girl in the world.
Anyway, them's the haps. Nothing too exciting. Some good news and bad. The good news is that I'll be able to attend Twilight Night with the girls on opening night. The bad news is, Thanksgiving is going to be miserable!
