Peggy's Pretty Priceless Passing Points

1.I love playing Yahtzee.  Besides the fact that I rock at it, it's so fun to shout "YAHTZEE!" It sounds distinctly Yiddish. Fact checker?
2. I smell a skunk.  Where do skunks come from?  (Not literally--you can spare me the "When a Daddy skunk and a Mommy skunk love each other very much" talk.) I've just never seen one alive--assuming "Flower" on the movie "Bambi" doesn't count.  So are there underground skunk singles bars where they meet in an effort to multiply and replenish the streets with dead skunks?  I just wonder about these kinds of things.
3. I don't mind having dirty hands, like dirty with dirt.  What I DO mind is when they're sticky. Remember those gooey sticky stretchy hands you could get out of quarter machines?  That weirds me out now.
4. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are coming in concert. Tickets are more than $100.  That is insane! I wish I got paid $50 an hour!  Well, I could, but it would be immoral, illegal and just plain gross all in one fell swoop.
5. One of the changes you'd see in Peggy's Perfect World: laundry would NEVER have to be done.  Clothes would automatically be washed, dried and ironed all the time.  Manna underwear, my friends.  Manna underwear.
6. Is it just me or is Alanis Morrisette less bitter these days? (She'd be pretty ticked off to see how badly I misspelled her name!  Nobody forward this to her!)
7. It's been awhile since our last visit to the good old Online Slang Dictionary.  Put your brain hats on and check out today's exerpt:
8. Twizzlers really DO make mouths happy.  Well, my mouth anyway. I suppose if you didn't like Twizzlers they wouldn't make your mouth happy.  What was my point again?
9. Do you think there are child stars out there working at McDonalds because they weren't wise with their money thinking their fame would live forever?  I mean, is Danny Wood from New Kids on the Block (NKOTB to us diehards) selling insurance somewhere?
10. Why am I still awake at 11:52PM? Ughhh..Jack is going to wake up in like 6 hours and I'm going to want to gouge my eyeballs out.  Tango Yankee, everyone, for taking a little bit of time out of your day to ponder passing points with me.  Word to your mother.

Point 1: NOT YIDDISH!!

YAHTZEE
GAME FOR A CRUISE? YAHTZEE was invented in 1956 by a Canadian couple aboard their yacht. When friends were invited aboard, they were taught how to play their "Yacht Game." Eventually they approached Edwin S. Lowe, who made his fortune selling Bingo games in the 1920s, and asked him to print up a few games as gifts. Lowe liked the game so much he offered to buy all the rights. The couple was not interested in receiving royalties, and they signed away their rights in exchange for a few copies of the game. Lowe changed the name of the game to YAHTZEE and enjoyed great success with this classic dice game. Milton Bradley acquired the E.S. Lowe Company and the YAHTZEE game in 1973.
